The Recruitment challenge
Initially FIS were finding difficulty in attracting quality candidates within their IT department, as a result they were managing many recruitment agencies which was proving to be a time consuming process especially when volume recruitment had to be undertaken.
Realising that having a single point of contact would be of benefit FIS approached Omni to assist.
Omni’s approach
FIS were constantly fielding sales calls and managing several agencies however they were still not obtaining the best candidates. Omni recommended a strategy that would help the management of agency relationships, saving time whilst also improving the quality of candidates coming into the business.
Following on from this additional services were utilised which provide FIS with regular management information as well as market analysis and salary benchmarking.
The Solution
Omni has created a single point of contact for all IT recruitment issues within FIS, also handling a large volume of cold calls from agencies.
Working with FIS a PSL was created with particular emphasis on agencies specialising within the finance industry this is regularly reviewed by Omni to ensure service levels are maintained.
Candidates are effectively pre screened in accordance with FIS requirements ensuring that only the most suitable are submitted for consideration by recruiting managers this ensures management can focus more of their time on core business.
So impressed have FIS been with the service Omni have provided that in 2007 they have rolled it out to other areas within the business including Finance, HR, Credit Risk and Administration.
