Omni hosts first Web 2.0/Social Media Recruitment Seminar
Omni hosted the first of a series of expert seminars on Web 2.0 / Social Media Recruitment or “Social Recruitment ” in Central London in March 2009. Attended by over of a dozen of the UK’s leading recruitment, resourcing and talent acquisition professionals, the seminar looked at how Web 2.0 / Social Media tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube should and could be used for recruitment.
The seminar considered current examples of good and bad practice in Social Recruitment. Participants discussed how organisations can harness the power of new internet tools to recruit the best people at less cost.
