Stakeholder Management Workshop

Managing stakeholders is an important part of the recruitment team's role as effectively dealing with the needs of internal contacts is vital to getting buy-in from the business and raising the credibility of the team. The team will then have the ability to deliver on hiring requirements and ensure that the most talented individuals in the marketplace accept offers, as well as achieving improved time and cost to hire.

Training course objectives:

  • Helping the team identify who their key stakeholders are, and how to manage their individual needs.
  • Ensuring the team understand how to flex their own personal style and approach to engage different stakeholders, including how to "push back" if required.
  • Identifying different influencing strategies to use within the work environment to build effective relationships.
  • How to gain the confidence to become a trusted consultant and advisor to the business.

Effective influencing

  • Five easy steps to influence
  • Different influencing strategies
  • Using leaderships skills to help your strategies
  • Using knowledge and competence to gain influence
  • Discussion on using your knowledge to plan your approach

Practising your influencing style

  • Discussion on identifying stakeholders and how to influence them
  • Dealing effectively with challenging behaviours to overcome resistance
  • Preparing for real life influencing stakeholders scenario

Becoming an advisor and consultant to the business

  • Creating and getting buy-in for a Recruitment Charter

  • Building  the candidate experience, understanding candidate and stakeholder touch points during the recruitment process

  • How to constructively push back against the business

  • Reviewing opportunities to become an advisor and improve candidate experience

 

How is the recruitment training structured? 

The training is delivered using a mix of presentation, group discussion and interactive exercises. Each delegate will also receive a comprehensive workbook and practical toolkit to take away.

What will I need on the day?

Everything you need is provided on the day, including a comprehensive course manual containing a detailed breakdown of all the key tools, templates and techniques. We also provide lunch and free refreshments for all attendees.

Courses are held regularly in London & Manchester and run from 9.30am - 4.30pm. Normal rate: £595 + VAT with Early Bird discount rates of £495 + VAT available. Further discounts are available for more than one delegate. 

We also offer this course as an in-house workshop, suitable for 3 - 12 delegates OR as one to one coaching, tailored specifically to your recruitment requirements.
