My Omni Journey

What do you enjoy most about your role at Omni?

My role at Omni involves managing a team of recruiters and working alongside Account Directors to ensure our clients always receive a great service. I enjoy the variety this role provides as every day is different and I get a huge amount of job satisfaction from being able to support my team and influence decisions on a wide variety of tasks.  I also enjoy building strong relationships across the business and working together to achieve our business goals.

 

What is the best thing about working for Omni?

The best thing for me about working for Omni is the level of autonomy you have as a manager within the business. You are trained, supported and trusted to make decisions and are always listened to, which is very important to me.

 

Where did you work before Omni?

I have worked within recruitment for 5 years now as a talent acquisition manager here in the UK and in Dubai. Prior to that I was a retail manager for over 10 years managing large teams of up to 170 people within fast paced retail stores. I made the transition at first into retail and hospitality recruitment and moved quickly into account management and then managing teams of recruiters.

 

What exciting things do you get to work on at Omni?

Omni is great for providing variety and as part of the SME accounts which I oversee we also get to support with any projects that may arise, which I really enjoy and allows me to widen my experience as a manager and understand different organisations.

 

In your opinion, why is Altrincham a great place to work?

Altrincham is very central for me in terms of commute from home but also being able to go into Manchester after work to meet friends etc which I do often. It has a great town centre just a short walk from the office and also has lots of big supermarkets nearby which allows me to do my weekly family food shop easily on the way home.
