This has delivered significant cost savings for Octavius against prior spending on temporary labour and contractors. This was achieved by consolidating and optimising Octavius’ agency supply chain under our managed service programme.
Our expertise in both contingent labour models and employment legislation has allowed us to guide Octavius through changes, like IR35, while retaining a skilled contractor workforce.

Reduced risk through supply chain consolidation, ensuring all temporary workers are fully vetted, certified, and work-authorised before being assigned. This mitigates compliance risk for Octavius.
Online Timesheets
Replaced paper timesheets with online tools for all temporary workers. This improves payroll accuracy and simplifies administration time and resource.
Improved Governance
Built relationships with hiring managers and suppliers to drive best practices in legal and compliant contingent labour programmes. This improves governance across the organisation.
Supply Chain Management
Implemented master service agreements with standardised terms for all recruitment agencies and reduced supplier base to preferred supplier list. This creates leverage and visibility for HR and all hiring managers.
IR35 Audit
Guided Octavius through IR35 reform with minimal disruption, achieving 98% retention of contractors, without affecting critical projects. This demonstrates Omni’s knowledge and expertise in compliant contracting.
We are currently managing 93 contractors, including direct hires, agency workers, and referrals across a variety of skills. At least 90% have been retained long-term. This shows the successful implementation of their contingent workforce programme.
