Omni are delighted to announce that we have shortlisted in two categories at the 2019 Recruiter Awards, Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment and Most Effective Employer Brand Development. These awards recognise outstanding achievement in the recruitment community and it is a real honour for us to be featured this year alongside the industry’s top talent.

Up and running since 2002, the Recruiter Awards are the UK recruitment industry’s largest celebratory event, covering both in-house recruiters and agencies, like Omni.

Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment

The award for ‘Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment’ is given to the company that demonstrates how it has achieved outstanding success on behalf of its clients. Judges will be looking to see that Omni have conceived, developed and implemented a cohesive recruitment/talent management strategy that delivers for the client. At the same time, they will be looking for evidence that Omni were able to perfectly integrate with the client’s employer brand, providing a seamless experience to both the candidates and hiring managers. Ensuring that every candidate leaves with a positive impression of the company is just as important as helping it to meet or exceed its business goals.

Ultimately, ‘Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment’ will be awarded to a company which has added significant value to their client over the course of the partnership.

At Omni, we believe we deliver on all of these qualities with every single client. Between October 2017 and October 2018, Omni helped organisations make 6000 hires across both the public and private sectors. This has ranged from temporary staff in care homes to permanent hires in finance, energy, retail and the NHS. In the past year, we have also diversified the services that we can offer clients to now include employer branding and training. These new services now account for over 30% total revenue.

At Omni, we have been shortlisted for our work with the Audley Group on their ‘Forget cocoa. Think Mojito…’ campaign. The success of their Audley Retirement Villages relies on continuing to provide an exceptionally high quality service to their clients, setting them apart from their competitors. They felt that the best way to achieve this was through a direct sourcing strategy, supported by Omni’s expert advice on effective employer brand deployment.

Omni conducted in-depth research about the future direction of the Audley Group in order to craft six unique propositions: Pride, Exceptional, Warmth, Game-changing, Empathetic and Growing. All of these were reviewed by the Audley Group CEO to ensure that they were both inclusive and inspirational. Together, they are The Audley Way.

The Audley Group fully embraced these propositions and they quickly became recognised behaviours within the organisation, having a positive impact on the entire recruitment process. This can be seen in physical assets like the new Audley jobs website, ATS system and an employee engagement and wellbeing portal, as well as changes to the induction and annual review processes.

Over 18 months, Omni has supported The Audley Group in its creation of a consistent candidate and employee experience, underpinned by their values at every stage. Time to hire has reduced, cost to hire has reduced and 96% of candidates said they would recommend Audley to a friend after the interview.
